UNLEASHING COMPUTING POTENTIAL
To the IT Industry
Purdue Information Technology Professionals' (PITP) annual Computing Challenge Day is an all day event that allows students to showcase their computing skills, such as cybersecurity, networking, or data science, through a series of company-hosted challenges.
With a registration number of over 100 students in 2024, the PITP's Computing Challenge Day connects you to Purdue's most talented computing students and allows you to gauge their potential fit in your company.
DESIGN AND HOST CHALLENGES
Your WAY
Design and host the challenge the way you want it. A challenge can be anything related to computing that has a measurable outcome to determine a first, second, and third place.
Examples include Capture The Flag games, coding challenges, or creating diagrams for a given scenario.
We encourage our partners to get creative and always love to discuss ideas! As a general rule of thumb, the broader the challenge topic, the more students will participate. However, if you are looking for a specific set of students, you are welcome to make challenges more exclusive. What PITP needs from you are easy to understand instructions to students on the day of and a system in place to be able to evaluate the participants.

Through hosting your challenge, gauge with Purdue's computing students.
